Who We Are
Technology Transfer Creators, Designers and Deliverers
Our vision is for a world where technology businesses are purpose led, creating opportunities for sustainable growth with positive social and environmental impacts across global communities.
Our mission is to put technology transfer at the heart of technology businesses.
We build sustainable businesses using B2B technology transfer.
Businesses that make more money and reduce their risk, while positively impacting our society and planet.
We know how to grow businesses with technology transfer. We have realised over £40m of value opportunity for our clients since 2015.
We’ve seen time and time again how technology transfer drives revenue and reduces exposure to risk. By using tried and tested models with our global network of experts.
We know how to grow businesses sustainably. We know this is what our clients want, however, our research has shown that fewer than half of the UK’s space businesses pro-actively invest in B2B technology transfer. MULTIPLY wants to change that.
MULTIPLY is a Social Enterprise
Our mission is to put technology transfer at the heart of technology businesses.
By building sustainable businesses using B2B technology transfer.
Businesses that make more money and reduce their risk, while positively impacting our society and planet.
(Social and Environmental Impact Statement, Articles of Association, 2022)
As a social enterprise, MULTIPLY is living this value and being the vision we see for the future. To do that, all decisions need to be informed by three questions that consider the societal, environmental and economic impact (see below). In each instance the decision maker(s) need to have been able to answer yes to the following three questions before actioning a key strategic or tactical decision:
- Does this have a positive social impact?
- Does this have a positive environmental impact?
- Does this enable sustainable growth?
Supporting our day-to-day approach we have three key social goals that guide the business activity over the year:
Re-Invest to Reach
We reinvest a minimum of 51% of our profits back into the business to increase our reach and impact
Grassroots Growth
We donate a minimum of 10% of our profits to grassroots enterprises, a vital part of enabling meaningful change in local communities.
Social & Environmental Impact
We only work on projects that have a positive societal and environmental impact. We measure the impact of our client’s project on society and the environment.
“Not only are we increasing our client’s revenue, we are transforming their approach to sustainable growth. We do all this while positively impacting society, economies and the environment.”
Purpose-led
Every decision we make must answer ‘yes’ to three essential questions:
- Does this have a positive social impact?
- Does this have a positive environmental impact?
- Does this enable sustainable growth?
Diverse
MULTIPLY designs solutions to build a company laterally, looking beyond the edge of a single industry. To do this, and enable sustainable growth, a diverse workforce, diverse programmes, diverse places, and diverse companies are key.
Compassionate
Our compassionate approach builds strong empathy with our clients. It’s a key element in driving creative collaborations that get results.
Today
Since 2015 MULTIPLY has been on a mission to change the way we build businesses.
Our early focus on high-profile, moon-shot programmes, specialising in the automotive and space sectors, provided the foundation from which we have grown. Today we work with the extraordinary, the start-ups and the global leaders in engineering across a range of diverse sectors.
Tomorrow
We continue to generate value. We are focussed on long-term partnerships with our clients, constantly challenging and exploring opportunities.
We continue to grow. We are taking on new clients, opening-up our services and products to more technology companies across the globe.
We continue to build our global network of skilled MULTIPLIERS, our team. MULTIPLIERS are aligned to the MULTIPLY values and trained to use the MULTIPLY tools and methods, to facilitate business to business technology transfer in their business communities.
We constantly improve. Our research programme with Cranfield University continues to refine and develop our tools and models to make them accessible for companies, governments and individuals to transfer technology.
